duck-rabbit mark the release of their first album, recorded earlier this year. The group’s development has been driven by a constant desire to explore sound and develop new means of expression. The unique electronic instruments created by the group are continually evolving to meet new musical challenges. In turn, the relationship between the performers and their acoustic instruments has been radically reconceived to occupy this new sound world. All this takes place in an ensemble which is dedicated to group interaction and spontaneous performance.
Abbott/Kanngiesser/Wheatley
The musicians share the common context and conditioning of living, listening and working in London for a number of years. They have worked closely together in various configurations though a variety projects they have all contributed to.
