 JazzNewBloodALIVE in cooperation with IKLECTIK presents a selection of emerging young jazz players/bands showcasing their own ‘voices’. The sets are a display of original jazz compositions infused with other vibrant and exciting sound/influences.

youth jazz talent 14-24. ​

​TriForce are a unique, experimental groove trio based in London. Blending the best bits of jazz, funk, neo soul and hip hop into one unique, maverick sound. Dominic Canning, Benjamin Appiah & Ricco Komolafe make up the trio and every now and then, long term friend and constant feature Mansur Brown. Influences include J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Thundercat and Austin Peralta.

Meeting through the young jazz scene in London, this trio (ages 15-16yrs) come together to create original music, applying their jazz improv nature to other more unorthodox influences, such as rock, electro, hip hop, folk and even AfroLusophone. Their level of skill have earn them positions on the Top 10 best UK young drummer of the year (2015 and 2016) & finalist at BBC Young Musician jazz award 2016.
