Hogcallin‘ is an eight piece band, dedicated to the music of Charles Mingus. They capture the spirit of Mingus using free improvisation and explorative arrangements of his tunes.

She is a doctor of Ethnomusicology specialising in the flat second and has played with Ghanaian band Orchestre Jazira and the Happy End big band)
Sue Lynch (saxophone/flute – co.runs The Horse Improvised Music Club at I’klectik, Art Lab and is a member of Helen McDonald’s Future Groove. The Happy End Big Band,The Remote Viewers)
Vladimir Miller (piano – performs with The Moscow Improviser’s Orchestra)
