South African born, Australian raised, and London grown, Janine A’Bear’s music production and live performances invoke a dreamlike quality and encourage inclusivity and feminist utopia on the dance floor.

Having spent as much time in the indie rock trenches (drumming in bands such as The Blanche Hudson Weekend) as hard at the coal face of laptop hammering (previously under the name of randomNumber) Robson’s latest material, featured on the recently released “Underville” EP, showcases a slightly more off kilter and experimental touch, throwing scrappy custom built patches and amateur virtual modular influences into the fray.
