IKLECTIK presents a live and surround ambient multichannel performance using additive synthesis based on colundi sine waves by Aleksi Perälä.

We will have a world premiere listening session of a forthcoming album by Perälä. The album is called GAIA 8 and it is scheduled to come out after the summer. First Aleksi will introduce the album by saying a few words about the concept behind the GAIA album series, its production and methods of additive synthesis.

Performer and producer Jake Williams will also join the bill with an hybrid ambisonic live performance.

Aleksi Perälä

Born in Finland in 1976, Aleksi Perälä has been an independent electronic music composer and producer for over 30 years. Aphex Twin’s record label Rephlex started releasing Aleksi’s music in 1999, and since then he has toured with fellow braindance artists. Aleksi’s passion for music has deepened over the years with an increased passion for sine waves. Aleksi has based his music on colundi frequencies since 2013, the same year he began releasing on his own label AP Musik. In the following 10 years, he released close to 100 albums, both on his own AP Musik label as well as on Clone records.
