Electroacoustic music composer and performer Tasos Stamou will present a live 3D version of his current project that mixes Greek rural district folkness and cutting edge urban avant-electronics. The audience will have the chance to experience this project for the first time in its extended form, with defused sound field recordings and electronically distorted antique music, surrounding ‘Iklectik’ and transforming it into a music portal of post modern Balkan soundscaping. Stamou will perform parts of his LP trilogy “Musique Con Crete”, “D.A.D” and the latest “Antiqua Graecia”, also launching some new electroacoustic music arrangements made for multiple channels.

Tasos Stamou
Tasos Stamou is an exploratory music performing and recording artist, a music technologist and a tutor. After migrating in U.K over a decade ago, his electoacoustic music started being haunted by the idea of nostalgia. His latest three electroacoustic composition albums, part of a trilogy of his experimental music with an ethnomusicological interest, have captured the interest in contemporary electroacoustic music composition. Stamou has performed in Europe and U.S.A in venues and festivals of innovative music and he has over 20 releases in independent music labels. He has collaborated with several veterans of exploratory music, such as Steve Beresford, Anna Homler, Mike Cooper, Savina Giannatou, Adam Bohman. He is signed in Discrepant (UK), Ikuisuus (FL), Moving Furniture Records (NL) and more independent labels.
