Astral Industries and Mostra join forces for a night, in two parts, of experimentation in London. Mostra is an independent small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music that was born as an alternative to the macro-festivals and the mass, commercial events that are held in the city of Barcelona. Mostra 2023 will take place from 6 to 9 April in Barcelona, featuring a total of 30 artists across two distinctive venues of the city.

Jin [靜]
Jin [靜], a Taiwanese female DJ, musician and sound artist based in London, blends various textural and experimental analogue noise elements into her music. She plays synthesisers, modular, and a variety of microphones for field recording. During her live performances, Jin seeks to create an abstract, meditative atmosphere for her audience by freely improvising with her set-up. Recently, she has devoted herself to the field of sonic art and is constructing her own instruments and DIY microphones in order to produce unique sounds.

Vincent Rang
Vincent Rang (1989) is an experimental visual artist working primarily with moving image as a medium. He believes in the power of visual and audio as a door into another world. He explores themes of scale, time experience, natural patterns and seeks for a symbiosis with audio.

By its nature, an outlier stands apart. Yet, while mapping out a sonic terrain that is distinctly his own, this Irish native has found a home on revered labels including Naïf, Soul Music People and Appian Sounds. A resident DJ at the Astral Industries nights and co-founder of the label Titrate, he moves effortlessly between gnostic techno trips and ambient sets that tunnel deep into the unconscious.
