CUEE at IKLECTIK with guest artist Sam Andreae

CUEE (City University Experimental Ensemble) are a wide-ranging, free-wheeling large ensemble of young improvisers and experimental musicians, led by Tullis Rennie. For their return to IKLECTIK, yhey are delighted to welcome saxophonist and improvisor Sam Andrae as their special guest. They will perform a number of improvisations based around his graphic score approaches for collaboration. The concert will also include a performance based on John Zorn’s infamous game piece COBRA.
CUEE have preiously worked with Cath Roberts for a headline set at IKLECTIK, with composer Michael Finnissy for an event marking his 70th birthday, and have performed the work of Pauline Oliveros with Seth Cluett.
