He’s founder member of Barcelona-based AV collective Insectotròpics and co-director of community-oriented arts organisation Walls On Walls.

House on the Strand

Harry Harper

Equally inspired by visual artists such as Julian Rosefedlt alongside the likes of Boards of Canada and Upsammy, much of House on the Strands releases to date have revolved around detailed organic downtempo electronica that is inherently cinematic. Early releases such as Out on the Fault Line were described as slow long form existential builds (Juno Daily), but the lens has sharped with later releases such as ‘Yalta’ which see the producer layering a rich photorealistic array of foley recordings, metallic samples in amongst an ever present melodic sensibility of reflective synth tones.
