InnerSwell is a project by artists Laima Leyton and Lexy Morvaridi, informed by the collective power of community activism, localised ‘real politics’ of empowerment, and support networks. It exists to amplify localised community work, offer experiences of the creative process, and empower people to create and develop narratives through the use of sound. Exploring memory and sound, InnerSwell utilizes listening as a method for developing the participants’ creative practice in whatever form it may take, extending beyond activities – such as music – into all realms of the creative arts.

Raimund Wong
The manipulation of ‘chance material’ is the central thread across Raimund Wong’s diverse graphic and sound practices. Through the language of dub and musique concrète, and using 4-track recorders with homemade cassette-loops as rudimentary samplers, he strives to present an optimistic, eternal view of mankind where sounds and voices from disparate time and space can work together in harmony. He is the host of A Record of Living Beings on Soho Radio, an impressionistic show about shared experience and pure expressions, incorporating live-in-studio adventurous b2b mixing & tape-based improvisations alongside rotating guests. Alongside Chestnutt (Snapped Ankles) he leads the ‘loud ambient’ group Floating World Pictures, but he is most recognised for his graphic work for numerous UK & international musicians / promoters / labels such as Alabaster DePlume, Church of Sound and International Anthem.
