Dalila Kayros & Danilo Casti

Sardinian singer and composer, Dalila Kayros, creates avant-garde indie electronic songs with dark ambient elements. Her music evolves along concept albums where Kayros creates surrealistic images related to symbolism and dystopian aesthetic, blending lead with ritualistic vocals and combining quiet and fierce moods. Along with veteran producer and musician, Danilo Casti, they will be premiering her latest A/V ‘ANIMAMI’. ANIMAMI, composed between 2019 and 2021 by DalilaKayros and Danilo Casti, draws the steps of a mystic journey inside the unconscious. The album tells about discovering the dark side of the mind as an endless path of inner transformation, a journey into consciousness facing all shadows hidden inside. Through a magical rite, the unintegrated part of the self gets merged into a more complex totality. From the deep black sea to the dawn of a new transmutation. Every transformation process is always in progress because every beginning is the end of something therefore every end is the beginning of something else. The story starts inside the Dragon Cave with a self-devouring act. The last step goes through a complete transformation into a new state of matter, a new liquid form which is not clearly defined because it just happened so It’s something that needs to be still explored.

BAG

BAG is the poetry and sound project of Dan Allison and Jody DeSchutter. The duo’s debut album, Mapping Azure, twisted flurries of abstract but never meaningless speech through webs of field recordings, brittle beats and scorched synthesis. Theirs is a world where music and language seem precariously tied together, emerging in a lyrical call and response to create something as bewildering as it is lucid. It triggers a unique effect for the listener. Never didactic, BAG’s music feels like an invitation to join them in charting the contours of a world constantly in flux. The project continues to evolve as they work towards their next album, branching into glacial, almost dub techno weight, intricate high-definition soundscapes and obliterated pop music. It all combines to further realise their ever more vivid parallel universe, one where words and sounds mean more together than they ever could apart.Mapping Azure was named one of the best tapes of 2020 in the Spool’s Out Column at The Quietus.
They recently released BAG X Collapsing Drums ‘Momentary Lapses’, a collaboration with experimental producer Collapsing Drums (Charlie Behrens) out on Already Dead.

The Seer

The Seer is a performance and sound project created by London based artist Conny Prantera. The Seer is a multimedia live performance that weaves A/V, music, theatre and performance art. The project is based on unpublished writings of a fictional blind prophet, whose bewildering visions and ramblings wander between homeric myths and personal memoir. The Seer will present a new and stripped down version of her latest solo work, darker and noisier: a stark warning of sorts.

AAACP

AAACP is a sound and performance project by Li Yilei and Joan Low. Their work manipulates and experiments with spoken word, found samples, domestic appliances, and synthesizers. The name of this project refers to Arts Administration and Cultural Policy, inspired by the postgraduate degree read by Joan. This is an ongoing exploration of the numbness of repetition and routine within the administrative nature of the banal.
Joan Low is an artist from Singapore working with live art and moving images. Her work surrounds discussions of the abject body, power, and failure. She is the co-director of Non Dual Collective, organising events, exhibitions, and talks focused on POC and emerging/mid-career artists.
Li Yilei is a London-based multi-disciplinary artist and composer working across performance, text, theatre, sculpture, and installation. With a background in fine art and sound art, their body of work finds profundity in subtlety and the banal, translated into abstracted sonic and visual languages. Li’s body of work and musical releases reflect their practice of alternative modes of listening and existence, as well as the contemplation of phenomena.  Their musical work, which polarises between tranquil and minimalist, and abrasive and harsh, frequently incorporates found objects, theremins, tapes, field recordings, modular synths, and the guqin. Raised by a Buddhist nun, Li’s work is strongly influenced by the Eastern ideologies of emptiness, zen, and transience. Being on the autistic spectrum, Li’s sensory processing issues and neurodivergent perceptions significantly informs their creative process, and their work can be perceived as a product of this navigation. Since 2017, Li has been performing internationally and releasing music, as well as composing and producing for theatre. Their work has been showcased and performed in museums, concert halls, and international festivals, as well as reviewed/featured in various digital and print publications
