Penelope Trappes

Penelope Trappes is a Brighton based Australian born vocalist, musician and etherial soundscaper. The release of Penelope Three marked the final instalment of Penelope Trappes’ critically acclaimed minimalist and etherial trilogy composed of mostly percussionless, reverb-heavy, haunting atmospherics with dystopian, mortality and predestination themes. Penelope is signed to Houndstooth where she’s released 3 albums and toured the UK and Europe culminating in a live performance with the London Contemporary Orchestra at Sounthbank Centre. 2023 will see the release of new album, Heavenly Spheres.

CHAINES

CHAINES (Cee Haines) is an award winning composer, multi-instrumentalist and multimedia artist who writes surreal and fantastical electro-acoustic music. Their 2018 album, ‘The King’, was met with critical acclaim (The Wire Magazine, FACT Magazine), and their works for the London Contemporary Orchestra have been premiered at major venues including The Royal Albert Hall (BBC Proms, 2022 and 2018). As of 2021, they lecture in Sound Art and Composition with Technology (SCoWT) at the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester, UK). Cee is proud to be supported by PRSF’s Open Fund (2023).
