Perimeter Jam is a hybrid event evolving from London Modular Meet up group. We provide a live platform for electronic music artists to perform primarily with Modular Synthesis, and augmented with other equipment and hardware. Audiences can expect a relaxed social space, with live projections, guest DJ’s sets, and an existing community of synthesiser and electronic music enthusiasts!

In 2014 Andrew Duff AKA allthesixes666 collated and shared sacred information on how to modify a 1982 MB Vectrex games console to add three audio inputs from a modular synthesizer – enabling the drawing audio-based vector oscillographics on its screen. As a consequence console collectors worldwide have waged a battle across many online marketplaces in an attempt to out-price and thus end the encroachment on their territory. Mr Duff also has a chequered past taking TVs to pieces, playing and selling music, teaching design and digital media, running the Brighton Modular Meet (RIP), and building a video synthesizer.

Torchcore: Paul Chamberlain
A bass guitarist since the early 80’s, Torchcore started DJing around South London’s free party scene as part of Das Miesters in 1991. Regular slots across Europe followed alongside a residency at the Wickerman Festival. Returning to his original love of playing bass live in the mid 2000s, he started to focus on his long-term interest in synths and discovered the world of modular. . Since his first solo performance at Ikelectik for London Modular Synthesis meet-up, February 2020, he has been fortunate to continue to perform on NSB radio, various parties and filmed for Dawless Records Youtube channel.

Apiento
Apiento aka Paul Byrne is a London DJ and producer who has a radio show on the infamous NTS and released music on World Building and other labels. He also founded and runs the Test Pressing website.

Baddest Squid
A 3way sound born from friendships forged at Stockwell Skate park. Brixton Beach’s Baddest Squid tones and beats explore sonic boundaries and Perimeters. Comprised of F£RG MON£Y, Chris and Lev, they together built a collaborative sonic space during the lockdown of 2020, where auditory textures were traded remotely. Some of these sounds would assemble to form mutant audio movements blending modular, sample based, breath and digital. These in time gave rise to the Squid like tentacles of sound.
