Raw Tonk is a London based record label releasing free jazz, improvised music and noise. For their debut IKLECTIK showcase they will host a concert with Ripsaw Catfish, Well Hung Game, Colin Webster & Andrew Cheetham.

RIPSAW CATFISH
Ripsaw Catfish is the collaborative duo of Cath Roberts (baritone saxophone) and Anton Hunter (guitar). Their music employs a collection of pre-composed elements which can then be drawn upon, or not, during the course of an improvisation. The Manchester and London-based musicians started meeting in 2013 and released their debut album ‘For The Benefit Of The Tape’ in 2014, followed by ‘Namazu’ in 2017.

WELL HUNG GAME
London based duo Well Hung Game comprises of James Allsopp on baritone saxophone, and Ed Dudley on electronics. Drawing from backgrounds in free jazz, noise, and electroacoustic music, the saxophone sounds are fed through cheap smashed up electronics then back into itself. The duo’s debut album ‘Traditional Values’ was released in 2017.

COLIN WEBSTER / ANDREW CHEETHAM
Saxophonist Colin Webster and drummer Andrew Cheetham have been collaborating together on different projects since 2014. This year they will release their debut duo album ‘A River Carving Ever Through The Land’. Having mainly made a habit of playing uncompromising free jazz sets to unsuspecting rock festival audiences – this will be the duo’s first concert performance.
