Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø

Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø is a trombonist and sound artist based in Berlin and Trondheim, focusing on live performance as well as a wide range of compositional and cross disciplinary projects. His current solo setup consists of heavily amplified trombone, analogue electronics and occasional field recordings, and undulates between claustrophobic tension and moments of ecstatic release. Breath is at the core of the project, and Nørstebø is utilizing an air compressor-like use of lungs, nuanced microphone technique and gain adjustments in order to unearth the intense physicality of the inherent low volume sound material.
“DYSTOPIAN DANCING” from 2022, his third solo release, showcases this unprocessed material along with an expanded section for “object orchestra”. Nørstebø has toured extensively since 2010, and released numerous records, spanning from solo to large groups. His collaborative projects include duos with Audrey Chen (BEAM SPLITTER), Daniel Lercher and JD Zazie, the “freejazzpop-band” Skadedyr, new music ensemble Aksiom and a myriad of collaborations with improvisers, visual artists, dancers, entities from around the world.

Sophie Sleigh-Johnson

Sophie Sleigh-Johnson of Southend-on-Sea is a writer, artist, and performer. She is concerned with the esoteric ground rock of comedy, in work distributed across text, cassette, sonic environments, lino prints and local newspapers. All these elements of her practice are part of an ongoing investigation into the magico-materialist temporality of place as a disorienting substrate. Her latest sound output in this vein is the cassette album Nuncio Ref! released by the independent label Crow Versus Crow.

Adam Bohman

London-based composer, performer and artist Adam Bohman (b.1959)has ploughed a singular path in music since the mid 70s. He studied with Phil Wachsmann at the City Lit in the early 80s. This led to the formation of Morphogenesis, an innovative live electro-acoustic group. A workshop group at the Cockpit Theatre around the same time spawned Diastolic Murmurs, a music theatre duo with artist Crow. Since then, he has been very active in the free improvised music scene of London – playing in many ad hoc combinations and organising concerts. He is a member of the London Improvisers Orchestra. Over the years, he has recorded sessions for BBC Radio 3 and his music is broadcast regularly. He has toured in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Japan.

Dom Bouffard

Dom Bouffard is a London born guitarist, composer and sound-maker who’s work focuses on experimental approaches to the electric guitar using extended techniques and prepared instruments. His ‘fractured punk’  approach draws on the instrument’s unique cultural and sonic DNA, its rebel mythology and DIY heritage, expressed through improvisation, composition and hybrid processes, produced as recordings, performances, installations, audiovisual and inter-medial / interdisciplinary work and also through a parallel drawing practice connected to experiments with graphic and other experimental forms of scoring. Bouffard’s work treats sounds as physical materials with which to activate spaces, often exploring themes relating to trauma, permission and identity. Pop Matters have called him ‘a writer and musician of both combustible aggression and intense, mathematical precision.’

“Sound system powered by AMOENUS. AMOENUS is an art organisation that facilitates, educates, curates and promotes immersive art centred around 3D sound”.
