Bitvert

Bitvert is an electronic music producer and live performer. Drawing on a DIY ethos of punk applied to nocturnal electronica and mechanical disruption, Civil Serpent was born in the warehouse subculture of East London, drawing together evil strands of pounding 4/4 techno, darkened electronic textures and stupendous sub bass frequencies that pull the head of the listener straight to the floor. – Rough Trade Records

S⊎G⊝

Embracing the transcendental power of vibration and inspired by the work of Helena Blavatsky, Aleister Crowley, Luigi Russolo and Pauline Oliveros, S⊎G⊝ combines field recordings, live sampling and acoustics into extemporaneous sessions played on tape loops, analogue synthesizers, turntables and found objects. The aim of his craft is to create an ethereal conversation, unbonded from the limitations of our verbal language. Because all creation is energy, existing in the form of waves that organize the primal matter into different levels of density or intensity. Sensation is the material garment of the spirit.

Jonny Halifax Invocation

Led by lapsteel and harmonica player Jonny Halifax, this fluid band project combines avant swamp blues heaviosity with kosmic free jazz experimentalism into rolling molten raag brut improvisations. A fluid collective on a mission to scorch minds beyond the realms of reason, summoning heavy sonic invocations of an hallucinatory apocalyptic near future. The blues are transmogrified, unhinged, reduced and re-imagined as intoxicating, trance-inducing, feedback-drenched noise paintings. “Shivering slabs of drone blues transcendentalism…a burning junkyard of sheet metal blues… Hot stuff.” Joe Banks, Shindig!

Parallel Action

Producer Parallel Action aka Jude Greenaway continues to cement himself as a key player in the trip-hop resurgence with his cinematic, audio visual performances. Parallel Action is a space for Jude to combine his passion for Trip Hop, Contemporary Classical and Future Jazz and heavy drum workouts fused with original visual content. His unique style is married with collaborations ranging from soulful singers, rappers and spoken word artists to scratch DJs, taking the listener on a journey that speaks to the uncertainty of a society on edge. It’s a fascinating and cutting-edge body of work that seamlessly blends experimental Jazz drums with heavy Hip-Hop elements, allowing Jude the freedom to tell stories in his own beguiling way.

Collapsing Drums

Collapsing Drums’ current set fuses electronic experimentalism with sonic collage and deep dives into a conversational world steeped in opaque imagery and psychoanalytic conversation. Using a live combination of reel-to-reel DJing, tape loops and modular synthesis, the Collapsing practice rarely takes the same direction twice, forming a multidirectional experience defined by myriad aural contexts.

Dina

Dina is a visual artist whose work explores the translation of music into graphic form. Using her own custom-designed graphic system, Dina creates live interpretations of sound that convey a minimalist aesthetic characterised by the use of basic graphic forms and striking visual simplicity. Her performances also offer critical reflections on the current state of the world and challenge the notion of human superiority, inviting the audience to question their relationship with the environment and other living beings.

The Black Pamplemousse

The Black Pamplemousse is un-deliberatley misterious artist, with his/her/their sonic signature coming directly from the 303, 808, and 909 sounds. Little is known about The Black Pamplemousse’s background, but their music speaks for itself. The artist’s sound is a naked blend of minimal elements ranging from an ethereal evoking sense of known otherworldliness to engaging dancing beats.

IF

IF is an Italian-born artist whose passion for music started at an early age. Growing up, she studied classical music. However, it wasn’t until the music influences of the 2000s rave scene that she discovered her love for electronic music. Fascinated by the raw energy of the rave scene, IF started experimenting with different genres and sounds. Her music style is a blend of rave sounds, IDM, industrial, and melancholic harmonies, which she uses to create an immersive and emotional atmosphere, and to connect with the listeners on a deeper level inspiring them to explore their emotional wild self.
