 JazzNewBloodALIVE in cooperation with IKLECTIK , presents a selection of emerging young jazz players/bands showcasing their own ‘Voices’. The sets are a display of original jazz compositions infused with other vibrant and exciting sound/influences. All concerts will be recorded for jazznewbloodarchive on a mission to register this amazing generation of youth jazz talent 16-24.

Trialogue are a Cambridge-based jazz trio, comprising 2015 Dankworth prize winner for composition Chris McMurran (piano), Arvin Vaghela (bass), and Alexander Blackwell (drums). ​Formed in 2015, the group play a mixture of original compositions and re-sketched standards, often straddling genres.

Cesca are a modern jazz trio formed in 2014, with a line-up of electric guitar, drums and keyboards. The trio released a self-titled EP in September 2015 and is now emerging into the underground music scene in London. Cesca’s music takes influence from artists such as Tim Berne, Troyka and Phronesis, their sound encompassing a broad spectrum of intricate grooves, punchy melodies and dynamic basslines.
