Algoraves are parties where artists and musicians experiment with algorithmic tools to create audiovisual code-driven performances. Since starting in 2012 Algoraves have established a large global community that encourages experimentation, active participation in the development of software tools, and, most importantly, creating fun and engaging music and visuals! This Algorave at IKLECTIK brings together live coding artists from across the UK to present performances spanning all of what Algoraves offer, including techno, dark ambient, gabber and more. Tyger Blue
Tyger Blue is a UK based worker in rhythms, frequency and intensity. His vision is to extend the understanding of the transformative powers of computational art, to challenge perception through individual, collective and institutional change. He enjoys working with experimental software such as TidalCycles to curate otherworldly sonic experiences and unlock new found potentials within electronic music.

eye Measure is a UK-based experimental artist and curator working primarily with algorithmic composition and creative coding. They have performed and exhibited work in places such as Cafe OTO (London), No Bounds Festival (Sheffield) and Fylkingen (Stockholm).

Michael-Jon Mizra
Michael-Jon Mizra is a composer of electronic music and visual material. Mizras work is concerned with agency and authorship in an age of mass media, communication, and artificial intellegience. He draws from the wealth of post-modern dialogue to re-direct, synthesis and contextualise narratives with the aid of generative design mechanics and digital technology. He works as a technical engineer at the University of the Arts , London, where he provides support and tuition on the use of creative computation in design and practice.

+777000 is a computer musician and melodramatic coder. Currently working with post-Bangface approaches to rhythm and melody, pop samples, and vocal chops. They are 1/2 of Edited Arts – the London-based label and event series dedicated to club facing music with ambient aesthetics. Visuals provided by nunez – a Spanish transdisciplinary designer exploring fields such as visual design, sound, creative coding, print or motion. They are currently utilising typography, coding and recordings to create new ways of communication for sonic and visual media.

hellocatfood is the alias of Antonio Roberts, an artist and curator based in Birmingham, UK. For his live performances he uses software including Pure Data to explore the creative potential of algorithms, glitches, and feedback loops.
