A studio space created with the vision of offering people the possibility of sharing an interactive sound experience.

‘SACRED DRUM JOURNEY & SOUND BATH’

This is going to be the first of a series of an interactive and experimental concerts. This project was born from the idea of combining sound healing instruments along with modern world music melodies and rhythms.

Nowadays sound healing or S. therapy is becoming very popular among the modern complementary medicine, using specific sound frequencies around the body can alterate human moods, it can help to relax and heal .

Interactive means that the musicians and the audience are transformed into an organic musical journey … and you’ll be part of it ..

Allow your self to be touched by the sound and let your feelings to be expressed through spontaneous movements and whatever arises in the moment ( Singing, Clapping , body percussion )

‘Chai’ Francesco Corallini has been on the London scene both as a freelance session drummer and as co-leader of various Jazz and world music bands. . In 2006 he graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Masters degree in Jazz.
Since he arrived in London Francesco has explored music with a very panoramic view, engaging in many worldwide projects and playing different styles has enabled him to expand his sensitivity to music.
In recent years Chai has also been re-searching and studying ‘Sound Healing’, the ancient art of healing and relaxation through live sounds.

Elizabeth Nott is a music teacher and musician. She studied Ethnomusicology at SOAS and for many years has had an interest in exploring ways to teaching music through improvisation and a better relationship with the body through movement. Apart from growing up in a musical family in Venezuela and influenced by her rich cultural surroundings, some other influences are: Gurdjieff movements, Dalcroze Eurythmics, Glen Velez and Zohar Fresco’s frame drumming and South Indian konakol.
