Yuki Kaneko is an Indian style violinist who plays Indian classical, ambient, electronica, psychedelic, and improvised music.

Naomi Motomura is known as the guitarist of Zelda, a legendary girl’s new wave band of Japan. After Zelda disbanded, Naomi absorbed various music and came up with a solo album, ” Whole”, released in 2013. Her live performances are so powerful and expansive it is hard to believe that it came from just one musician.

Tokyo born musician Yumi Hara, now lives in London and has been performing improvised, jazz based, prog tinged, eclectic music for years and years now with a lot of musicians from the ‘Canterbury scene’ such as Hugh Hopper, Daevid Allen, Geoff Leigh, Chris Cutler, John Greaves, Fred Frith, Tim Hodgkinson, The Artaud Beats and you me & us. She is currently preparing CD & LP by Jump for Joy! (with Jean-Herve Peron, Zappi, Geraldine Swayne, Chris Cutler, Geoff Leigh) in time for this year’s Rock in Opposition Festival (16-18 Sept) at which she also plays music by Lindsay Cooper with Half the Sky (with Dagmar Krause, Chris Cutler, Chloe Herington of Knifeworld).

Poulomi Desai is a self-taught, outsider, multi-media artist since 1980, when she set up Hounslow Arts Co-op at the age of 14. Desai was born in Hackney, London, England. Originally inspired by a street theatre background, her works are performative, textual, image based, and acoustic. She works with collaborative working processes which evolve through research, learning and action to examine the elusive, creating large scale photographs, performances and outdoor sound installations. Commissions and Exhibitions include The Serpentine Gallery, London, The Science Museum, London, The Queens Museum, New York, The Oxford Gallery, Kolkatta, and The Photographers Gallery, London. In 2010, she set up the Usurp Art Gallery and Studios.
