Teetering precariously between discord and harmony, the prismatic distortion of Tommi Tokyo (group A, Tot Onyx) and Nicky Mao’s (Hiro Kone) new project Enxin/Onyx abandons all former distinctions for something mutable and unsettling. Haunted voices bubbling up amongst shifting electronics, mercurial at times, confrontational at others. This constant interplay between elements of their individual practices give way to sonic experience that knows no bounds. Not surprising for both artists whose work spans across numerous collaborations, including film and dance.

Lia Mice
2021 Oram Award winner and multidisciplinary artist Lia Mice’s live AV sets incorporate beat-driven experimental pop, live vocal sampling and Lia’s self made visuals that mash digital and analogue video synthesis. A “pioneer of experimental pop”, according to Berlin’s KALTBLUT Magazine, Mice has performed her live A/V sets at such venues as the ICA, the Tate Modern, WOMB (Tokyo) and the Museum of Arts and Design (New York). Her album Sweat Like Caramel is out on Objects Ltd.
