Ulla

The Philadelphia-based artist Ulla consistently eludes expectations, with otherworldly productions and live performances. With an unmistakeable sound awash with woozy rhythms and spine-tingling moments, her candid and intimate live sets exude warmth and cosmic energy.

Timnah Sommerfeldt

As a key driving force in the endlessly creative and forward thinking Basel scene, Timnah weaves a tapestry of warm, reverberating cuts from across the dance music spectrum. As a long-time resident of Hinterhof Bar and Elysia, her sets fluently cover (and transcend) shades of techno, experimental and ambient music.

Leeway (Guy Gormley)

Leeway (aka Guy Gormley/Enchante) weaves together field recordings, ambient sketches, and club beats in a way that feels provocatively out of step with contemporary dance music. With an uncanny skill for making a coherent whole out of odds and ends, his music is awash with trickery and intrigue whilst embracing pure, enveloping dancefloor energy.

Plants Heal

Long-time collaborators Dave De Rose (drums), Dan Nicholls (keyboards) and Louise Boer (video) form the cosmic rave group Plants Heal – whose warm, gritty and impressionistic improvised sets formed the foundations of the first Free Movements events way back. An immersive journey of discovery characterised by deep and contemplative atmospherics and spells of exhilarating energy.

Eight Fold Way

Eight Fold Way is the alias of sound artist Mark H. Geary, whose work explores the potential of listening to alter perception. Rooted in an inquiry of the listening environment, Eight Fold Way aims to find methods for deepening the experience of sound, both through the platform ‘Hardcore Chillout’ and through self-curated experiential events.

Sybil b2b Auratekh

Sybil and Auratekh are two of our most cherished and consistently amazing resident DJs, whose sets stitch together music from a broad palette, contrasting new finds with long forgotten gems to create memorable and entrancing stories. In recent years Sybil has performed internationally at venues such as Berghain, De School (Amsterdam), Parallel Festival and Berlin Atonal, whilst Tekh is a mainstay at some of London’s most loved Trance parties and curates the Sonic Rites festival.

DJ Gonz

As co-founder of the Seln Records label, DJ Gonz has been instrumental in shaping a movement which digs deep below the surface in its diffraction of UK dance music. Having played frequently with peers such as John T. Gast and Conrad Pack at some of London’s most forward-thinking underground spaces, Gonz is a producer and DJ who’s music speaks emphatically to the heart of London.

“Sound system powered by AMOENUS. AMOENUS is an art organisation that facilitates, educates, curates and promotes immersive art centred around 3D sound”.
