Perimeter Jam is a hybrid event born out of the London Modular Meet ups. Audiences can expect a relaxed social space providing a live platform for electronic music artists centred around Modular Synthesis and guest DJ sets.

Logos
Logos is the primary working name of electronic music producer and composer James Parker. In a career spanning well over a decade he has produced five long-players, including the critically acclaimed 2013 work Cold Mission, as well as countless 12″ releases and remixes, many with close collaborator Mumdance. He also records polyrhythmic techno as RVSHES with DB1. Most recently, his solo practice (on tape releases North Vol.01. and 02) has focused on using the Clavia Nord Modular G1 – an idiosyncratic hardware digital synthesis engine and software patching environment – to create noisy, rhythmically stark and ultra-repetitive machine music.

Franz Kirmann
Franz Kirmann has been releasing electronic instrumental music since 2006 on numerous labels such as Bytes / Ransom Note, Mercury KX or Denovali Records. He also composes for media and television. His recent work on the Bytes imprint has been focusing on the deconstruction of existing songs, processed through modular synthesisers and reimagined as melancholic and ghostly sonic landscapes.

Engineer
Engineer is an electronic music producer, who specialises in live improvisation. He uses a eurorack modular synthesiser to create electronic, techno, jungle and dance beats on the spot. Something he likes to call “Machine Jazz”.

Joe Clay (DJ)
Joe Clay is a journalist and the co-founder of Bytes, a London/Dorset electronic label and offshoot of Ransom Note Records. Since its formation in 2019, Bytes (named after the 1993 Black Dog album that was part of Warp’s influential Artificial Intelligence series) has released music from a diverse range of artists including GLOK (the electronic alter ego of RIDE’s Andy Bell), Franz Kirmann, Minotaur Shock and A Lily.
