£80/£55 concession

Presence & Resonance invites you to explore and expand your performative skills and join a process of playful and stimulating investigations, leading to an evening of live performances.
Presence & Resonance has an interdisciplinary approach and welcomes practitioners in various fields: music, voice, art, performance, acting, poetry/text, dance & movement. The process is structured as a journey of self-discovery and collaborative exchange. You will review your practice; its challenges, strength and weaknesses, and explore methods and strategies to overcome limitations, boost confidence and advance your work.
Listening and responding, you will develop awareness to posture and movement, paying attention to inner processes, while staying in tuned with your environment; Harmonising mind and body and increasing vitality, creativity and focus.
The process is physical and mental, utilising breath, voice and gesture. It highlights muscle memory, intention, meditation and imagination as creative tools, and you will investigate sound and form through play, improvisation, stream of consciousness and composition. Working solo, and in collaboration with others, you will be encouraged to trust your intuition, expand your thinking, break old habits, and take creative risks, to discover new possibilities and create new material.
The two days process will culminate in an evening of live performance with presentations of ideas and new work.
(The proceeds will be shared between all the performers).
