Sagome takes over IKLECTIK for an 8-hour-long event with live dub, trance-inducing rhythms and eclectic DJ sets from international and local artists, gathered together for the first extended Sagome session, both in the garden and indoor. Expect a heterogeneous selection from steppers to experimental electronics, from Basque folklore songs to soulful grooves, through lost and found gems from archives around the globe – sounds from the past and the future to dance to!

Bear Bones, Lay Low
For over a decade, this Venezuelan now long-time based in Belgium, has been creating psychedelic electronic sound by juxtaposing digital and analog sources. Using repetitive melodies and rhythms combined with dissonant sounds, BBLL wishes to induce a multilayered trance that allows solemn listening as well as ecstatic dancing in a mental space where the archaic meets the futuristic, where the earthly meets the cosmic. His live performances have attracted many music fans from different horizons, allowing him to play in varied contexts ranging from strictly experimental music festivals like Échos in the valleys of Le Saix, to open-minded night-clubs such as Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf or Contact Club in Tokyo and everything in between. As an active musician in Belgium’s experimental underground he has also been part of numerous free music outfits including the late Silvester Anfang/Sylvester Anfang II and is currently active with the electronic duo Tav Exotic amongst other projects. With releases on different labels such as Kraak, Ekster, Lullabies for Insomniacs and BAKK to mention only a few, his most recent material has been released on the Rush Hour affiliated No Label series.

Maquis Son Sistèm
Maquis Son Sistèm is the musical project and alias of Stefan Dubs which is expressed through the records of the eponymous label, a mix series on LYL Radio – Le Son du Maquis -and a live dub which consists of a live re-interpretation of the tracks in k7 format using the mixing desk as a narrative instrument and also sound effects and dub sirens. He is involved in the collective, label and sound system Folklore, which has been active for the last ten years organizing rave parties in the city of Toulouse. It is on the sound system that the Maquis Son Sistèm live project and its festive trance takes its full physical and hypnotic dimension.

Andy Mac
Andy Mac is a DJ / producer based in South-West Cornwall. His current activities include co-running the record label / club night Deep Street, adding texture to the experimental-folk act, Belan, and hosting a monthly show for Mutant Radio, Tbilisi. Previous projects have landed on Trilogy Tapes, A Colourful Storm/Fleetway Tapes, Zam Zam, No Corner, and Idle Hands/Diving Bird. The back catalogue swings between Deep House, Techno, Dub and lo-fi, tape-saturated electronics with the prevailing interest of playing records for dancers and listeners alike remaining a consistent thread and guiding force throughout.

Honest Jon’s (Alan Scholefield & Abraham Parker)
Founded in Ladbroke Grove in 1974, Honest Jon’s remains one of London’s (and the world’s) foremost record shops. Always purveying jazz, reggae, funk and an amalgamation of worldwide sounds from its Portobello Road abode, the HJs label houses artists from Moritz von Oswald to Toumani Diabate, by way of Actress, Lee Perry, Shackleton, Candi Staton and Damon Albarn, and its iconic London Is The Place For Me series. HJs will be represented on the decks by two furniture parts, co-owner Alan Scholefield and longest-serving employee Abraham Parker.

Death Is Not The End
For 9 years and counting, Death Is Not The End (aka audio archivist Luke Owen) has been building a formidable collection of crumbling blues, pirate radio hauntology, spiritual music, ghost folk and dusty proto jazz – sharing it on his regular NTS Radio show and via his eponymous London-based label. His work has been championed by the likes of The Guardian, New Yorker, and across open-minded national and international radio.

Laura Not
Laura Not is an artist, dj and radio host. Since 6 years, she hosts the thematic broadcast (x)=musik on France’s Lyl Radio and curates an eclectic selection of monthly mixes for Sounds Unsaid on the German branch of Dublab. She has composed music for art installations and moving image, and recently released on independent labels such as Kashual Plastik or Phncrs. Behind the decks, Laura Not likes to call herself a sound-collagist. Her sets are the space in which hybrid sonic sources, entwined in hidden bonds, gather into an idiosyncratic narration.

Hegoa Diskak
Basque born & London based, Mikel runs Hegoa Diskak. A label promoting the works of experimental artists from the Basque Country in the north of Spain. The label dives into the often overlooked works of early and contemporary folk, leftfield and electronic music artists from the region. This includes Atanas Akerstra, Alberto Lizarralde, Carcáscara or Verde Prato amongst others. Long time collaborator of Spanish collective and experimental radio Radio Relativa, you can find his shows aired on Relativa, NTS, Noods, Netil or Lyl radio.
