Gabriel Prokofiev
Composing music that both embraces and challenges western classical traditions, Gabriel Prokofiev has emerged as a significant voice in new approaches to classical music at the beginning of the 21st century. After completing his musical studies at Birmingham and York Universities, and dissatisfied with the seemingly insular world of contemporary classical music, he developed a parallel music career as a dance, grime, electro and hip-hop producer. This background in dance music combined with his classical roots gives his music a unique and truly contemporary sound. Gabriel is also an events curator, producer and founder of the Nonclassical record label, and in 2022 he founded the new deep-listening electronic label: Oscillations.

Gareth Whittock
Gareth lectured at the Conservatoire of Wales, Swansea Metropolitan University and DBS college (BA in Live Sound course). He now designs and builds musical instruments and effects pedals. His Aum Guitars’ Vibraslide system has been nominated for Product of the Year 2022 in the ‘Guitar Technology Product’ category. His own musical output employs his original instruments and inventions combined with Max8 for processing. He is particularly interested in harnessing real or imagined natural forces in the production of spacial music and has built a number of devices using ambient sensors and aeolian harps.

Left food for fractals in 1990 with chaos theory shop Strange Attractions, posters, clothes +. Writes first book on self-organising power of freedom and why top-down states fail us. Next book introduces us to the living cosmos.

Georgina Brett
Georgina Brett began Tuesdays Post : Live Progressive Ambient to promote artists who work with outboard equipment to create music on the cusp of electro-acoustic and ambient styles. She has post-graduate in Electro-acoustic music and fascination for surround sound spacial music.

Pop-Up Kings
Pop-Up Kings is the solo project of writer, psychologist and broadcaster Charles Fernyhough. A recent collaborator with Darkroom and Improvizone, he has written about the science of ambient music in Aeon and elsewhere. Pop-Up Kings released their first album, The Start Of It All, in December 2022. Expect synth textures with laptop disruptions, degraded loops and layered guitar.
