4 European experimental artists collide for an evening of sonic and visual storytelling on Iklectik’s multichannel sound system. From Lamina’s imaginary sound ecosystem, to Pol100’s club mutated live AV performance with Sintetico and a unique body architecture performance from Luca Pagan.

Warning: Some performances might use strobes and/or flashing lights.

Lamina is the moniker of French artist Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle. In Basque mythology, Lamina is a half-human, half-animal spirit that dwells in the forest. Essentially a nocturnal creature, it lives in damp caves, close to water sources and creeks. In the same way, Lamina’s music is swampy and growling, a living and ever-evolving imaginary ecosystem, with textures, effects and field-recordings blending together to create personal sonic landscapes.

Luca Pagan

Italian sound artist, independent researcher and performer. With an armour of self-designed wearable technology, and the use of biotechnology to capture the expressiveness of his performance, Luca Pagan explores the relationship between physical movement, sound and its environment. His research is based on the perception of body movement with music as a means of expression and communication.

Pol100 / Sintetico

Originally from Ferrara, Paolo Maiarelli makes music under the Pol100 moniker. His work is a complex mix of ambient-like audio engineering and break/bass heavy electronica, transcending conventional forms of arrangement and sound design. Together with Italian multidisciplinary artist Sintetico, they will present a unique AV piece.
