‘We Live In The Flicker’ sees genre defying trio Leverton Fox (Alex Bonney, Tim Giles & Isambard Khroustaliov) launch their latest album alongside support from Seaming To (Lo Recordings) and with DJ MainstreamFM (Constructive / SN Variations). Recorded in a Sussex woodland over lockdown, Leverton Fox’s new record ‘In The Flicker’ will be presented on the night in full surround sound, with an immersive light show, evoking the invigorating panorama it was created in.

Leverton Fox

As Leverton Fox, Alex Bonney, Tim Giles and Isambard Khroustaliov collage together a battery of musical inspiration, from noise, lo-fi electronics and musique concrète to free improvisation, breakcore and psychedelia with a healthy dose of irreverence.

Seaming To

Composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Seaming To was born in London and comes from a family of concert pianists. She studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and during her time in Manchester began performing and releasing albums with supergroups Homelife (Ninja Tune) and Graham Massey’s Toolshed. She has appeared on BBC Radio (Radio 3′s Mixing It/LateJunction/Radio 1′s Breezeblock show/6 Music) and performed and toured the UK, Europe and the Far East.
To has been described as ‘the voice of a 21st Century’ (Radio1), and an artist that is truly ‘avantgarde’ (Robert Wyatt). Her experimental ethos and mastery across a variety of instruments has enabled her to collaborate with some of the most respected and radical artists of this decade, particularly in electronic, classical and experimental genres. Seaming has released an EP of Sodaslow (For Us), Mermaid EP and album Seaming (State51Conspiracy), and Natural Process EP is due out on Lo Recordings.

DJ MainstreamFM

Born and bred in London’s Camden Town, Sheikh established his love for electronic music very early on by creating Absorb. A long-running and much missed music blog in the mid-nineties.
He then went on to be a co-conspirator for John Peel over at Radio 1, co-ran Aphex Twin’s label Rephlex digitally as well as worked for the likes of The Leaf Label, Hyperdub and Warp Records.
He continues to maintain his long-running series of mixes over at MainstreamFM. Resurrected his interest in writing about electronic music for Squatney District Council. And currently co-runs the Constructive record label with composer Adrian Corker. Constructive is the sister label to SN Variations and releases an unspecified variety of music, sometimes with a visual counterpoint.
He also DJ’s irregularly around the globe.
