CLON x Ana Quiroga presents META [Live A/V]
META AV is an immersive audio-visual journey into future and unknown worlds, by CLON (Estela Oliva) in collaboration with electronic musician Ana Quiroga. Inspired by sci-fi narratives and cyberpunk aesthetics, META AV invites the audience to enter a parallel reality, a simulated world unfolding in real-time through interconnected utopian and dystopian scenes. Built as an art game using games engines, the performance is presented in FPV (first-person view), placing the audience as the main character of the experience, in which they act as explorers of CLON’s game-like worlds.

CLON is the project of artist, director and curator Estela Oliva, in which she explores futuristic and speculative fiction to reflect on the impact of digital technologies and the Internet in human behaviour, identity and our surroundings. CLON’s hybrid environments blend the physical and the virtual, unfolding a set of connected stories and experiences. These narratives come to life in experimental formats such as VR experiences and walk-throughs, installations, performances and films.

NNJA RIOT [Live A/V]
Nnja Riot is the project of multidisciplinary artist Lisa McKendrick. Her music is an exploration into the possibilities of instruments, electronics, collected sounds and the human voice. She performs with a combination of samplers, sequencers, self-built and modified synths. Onstage she likes to explore ideas of art as ritual through self-made costume. Her collected sounds reference the understanding of place through sound and the spiritual significance of locations revisited. She has co-designed the Fort Processor and Chernobylizer which are psychogeographic experimental synths.

Nnja Riot will incorporate sounds from industry and city development together with sounds from nature and community as a way to explore the theme of disappearing spaces. She will utilise these contrasting field recordings and found-sounds to incorporate into song compositions together with experimental filmmaking as visuals exploring this theme.

patten [Live A/V]
London-based artist, musician, designer, and cultural researcher, Damien Roach aka patten presents his ‘Mirage FM’ live AV show, re-interpreting tracks from the first album made with text-to-audio AI samples.
Using an ultra-flexible system, with embedded precision AI audio analysis, his ‘crate digging in latent space’ continues in the live arena. Like a rogue scientist crossed with a cybernetic soundsystem DJ, making lysergic mutated audiovisual remixes of the album material live in realtime. “I can go super abstract and heady, stay close to the album, or dive into a 3am dancefloor zoner. No two sets will be the same, and it’ll all be really responsive to where and when it happens”. Like ‘Mirage FM’, the live AV floods the stage with tripped-out hi-tech AI videos against everything from pop to techno, R&B to opera, hip-hop and grime to ambient, all distilled into half-remembered fragmented forms.

Isnaj Dui [Live]
Since 2005, Isnaj Dui has stood awkwardly between neo-impressionism and electronica, conveying a minimal yet capturing sound using the pure tones of concert and bass flutes alongside home-made dulcimers and electronics. Alongside flute and cello, English has also studied electroacoustic music, alternative tunings and Balinese gamelan, creating a distinct voice which takes the flute away from its pastoral image whilst maintaining its unique sound. As well numerous solo releases, she has composed several soundtracks and installations and collaborates with a wide variety of interesting people.

On this performance, she’ll be performing pieces from her latest album ‘Cereus’.
